Requirements

General Requirements:
- Age 16 or older on first class day
- Ability to communicate in English at class
- Ability to read English

ID Requirements::
- Any state Driver's License + a Social Security Card or ITIN card - or -
- Virginia DMV ID or Driver's License - or -
- Passport + Social Security or ITIN card

Supplies:
- Reliable internet access for online study
- Smart phone, tablet, computer or laptop with internet to do online study, up to 10 hours per week.

Attend same days/time each week.

10 hours of online study must be completed before each class day

Orientation & Professional Conduct – 5 hours
Infection Control & Sanitation – 10 hours
Nail Structure, Growth & Disorders – 8 hours
Product Knowledge & Chemistry – 7 hours
Client Consultation & Communication – 5 hours
Salon Operations & Business Basics – 10 hours

Practical / Hands-On Training – 95 Hours (In-Person Only)
Manicure Services – 20 hours
Pedicure Services – 20 hours
Artificial Nails & Enhancements – 30 hours
Nail Art & Advanced Techniques – 15 hours
Client Services & Professional Practice – 10 hours

Kalina Nail School Tuition is $4,500

Tuition includes student supplies and equipment used in the school during training, and access to online training.

Tuition includes VA DPOR practical exam kit.

Does not include VA DPOR license fee ($120) or cost of VA DPOR examinations $195 ( $99 theory. exam + $95 practical per try)
